Mike knows the importance of service, trust, honesty and integrity. A native of Minnesota he spent 21 years in Navy. He served in the enlisted ranks as an aircraft mechanic and rescue swimmer and in the officer ranks as an F/A-18 Fighter Pilot. Mike retired from the Navy in 2006 and moved back to his home town of Monticello with his wife Katharine and son Carter. Mike joined the Mortgages Unlimited Team due to their commitment of re-defining consumer’s expectations and experience in the mortgage industry.
Mike is our Reverse Mortgage Specialist. Both of Mike’s parents are in their late seventies. His grandmother will be 100 years old in 2008. He understands the challenges of today’s aging generation and the concerns family members have for their parents. He has found through his own family experience that aging on a fixed income presents unique challenges. As a Reverse Mortgage Specialist Mike is committed to helping those 62 and older and their families. Although the reverse mortgage industry has been around for some years it is new to many. Consumers are accustomed to being able to ask any relative, friend or co-worker how a traditional mortgage works when purchasing or refinancing a home. Having the same information available with respect to reverse mortgages does not hold true. Mike is dedicated to providing the education and resources necessary to make informed decisions.
